Description

Developing a new volunteer program and managing volunteers presents a challenge for every non-profit organization.  This class is composed of a series of short, interactive topics designed to help grow or strengthen your volunteer program.  

 

The modules are:
Navigating Volunteer Screening and Recruitment (April 12): Preparing your agency for volunteers.
Keys to Keeping Quality Volunteers (April 26): Managing one-day to long-term volunteers; Volunteer Retention and Motivation.

 

Sessions are composed of a short presentation followed by questions and comments from the group.  Attendees are encouraged to bring issues and questions for the instructor and other attendees to discuss.  If you have specific topics or questions you would like to have the class address, please send to Rachel before the class.
