Join fellow nonprofit executive directors for a collaborative, in-person roundtable focused on understanding and addressing recent legislative and executive developments impacting the nonprofit sector. This session will commence with a live viewing of the Blue Avocado webinar, “Legislative & Executive Threats to Your Nonprofit – Live Q&A,” presented by the National Council of Nonprofits. Following the webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to process critical information, share organizational concerns, and collaboratively develop actionable strategies to address the evolving policy landscape.
Additionally, the roundtable will close with a very brief presentation on The Fabric of SLO County: Understanding the Diversity and Contributions of Our Immigrant Community. This 2025 report by Diringer & Associates offers a comprehensive overview of San Luis Obispo County’s immigrant populations, highlighting their demographic diversity, economic and cultural contributions, and the unique challenges they face in areas such as housing, healthcare, and legal support.
