Held online in Zoom - URL sent upon registering - FREE to Members and Nonmembers
Limited to 12 participants

For this roundtable, we are seeking representatives from local nonprofits that serve the recreation sector. This is an opportunity to gather and accomplish the following:

  • Build relationships and collaborations between those serving in the same nonprofit sector
  • Share challenges, successes, and opportunities within the sector served
  • To seek and receive feedback and moral support from peers

Whether you are a seasoned nonprofit professional or new to your sector, your presence is valuable.

Guidelines:

  • Limit of two people from the same organization
  • Limit of 12 participants total
  • A commitment to maintain confidentiality to foster a robust and honest discussion.
  • Participants are encouraged to have their cameras on.

 

A recent participant shared:

“I was able to share the challenges our group is dealing with and received some good feedback from the host and participants. I also learned about other programs in the area and the issues that face them.”

 

You do not need to have an active Spokes membership, but you do need to have or create a Spokes account to register. We look forward to seeing you at the Roundtable!

 

Facilitator: Theda Parker, MSW
Theda has a background in social work, having worked for local nonprofits and government organizations. After taking a career break to be home with her three children, she joined the Spokes Team in 2022 as a Program Assistant. Known for her resourcefulness, she is passionate about making connections to support service delivery for local nonprofits and finding the resources to make that happen. She currently serves in key roles for two nonprofits.
