Our nonprofit organizations have values. Each of us has values. They may be implicit. They may be explicit. They may be listed in our strategic plans, our brochures, and on our walls.

But do we truly know what our core values are? Are we clearly aware of those most deeply held values that frame how we make decisions, build relationships and solve problems?

Core Values

Core Values are the often unseen drivers that propel you and your staff as you work to deliver your mission. Allowing them to remain unconscious sets your organization up for unpleasant and sometimes negative consequences.

The problem could be as simple as interoffice friction or as complicated as losing a major supporter. Understanding how to identify and effectively employ organizational and individual Core Values enables you to create success for you, your team, and those whom you serve.

In this workshop, you’ll experience increased clarity about the measurable benefits of Core Values Mastery, a strategy you can use in your organization to help you:

  • Eliminate mission creep
  • Improve and streamline team communication
  • Strengthen client relationships
  • Increase organizational productivity
  • Attract highly qualified staff, board, and patrons
  • Enhance community awareness

This class is designed for nonprofit leaders—CEOs, executive directors, board members and others in leadership positions. This class is a live, in-person event held at People's Self-Help Housing, near SLO County Airport.
