Almost every nonprofit relies to some degree on volunteers to accomplish its mission. Does your organization need volunteers? Do you volunteer for a nonprofit yourself? Here's an opportunity to share what's working, what's not, what's a challenge, and to hear the same from others.

Spokes roundtables are not "classes" or presentations; they are facilitated discussions that afford the opportunity for networking and frank discussion among peers in a safe, comfortable environment.

Facilitator: Rachel Cementina
A San Luis Obispo local, Rachel was first introduced to volunteer management as a member of the local AmeriCorps program. That position led to coordinating volunteer opportunities of all sizes - from ongoing boards and committees to large one-day volunteer events. She now serves as the Director of Membership, Marketing and Philanthropy at the SLO County YMCA, is chair of the SLO Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee, and is a volunteer manager for God's Storehouse food pantry.
