Are you already installed as the President but struggling to lead efficient and effective board meetings? Or, are you scheduled to assume the role of President next year and want to be prepared to “hit the ground running” when you start your term. If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, this class is for you!

Facilitated by Michael Simkins, Ed.D.: Michael Simkins, Ed.D., has been a member of several nonprofit boards and served as board president, secretary, and treasurer. His professional experience spans the education and nonprofit sectors. Currently, he is president of the San Luis Obispo Little Theatre board and the UCLA Alumni Central Coast Network. He is associate executive director of the California Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
