Do you know how to manage in support of diversity at your nonprofit? Are you prepared with strategies to prevent abusive conduct, sexual harassment, and discrimination? Whether you are managing staff or volunteers, this high energy and interactive course is for you. Relevant to management staff, volunteer coordinators, and board members, this training is fully compliant with California AB 1825. At the end of successful completion in the course, proof of attendance and a certification of completion will be provided.

NOTE: All participants will attend the first hour together. Employees will have completed their one hour training and will receive their certification. After the break, only supervisors will continue with the 2nd hour of training.

Facilitated by Kathy Marcove. Kathy is an HR Professional, facilitator and master trainer with 20 years of experience in team building, management training and meeting facilitation, and servicing the business community as an independent management and training consultant. She earned an undergraduate degree in political science, completed graduate work in human resources development and holds a master's degree in international and intercultural management.  She served as a human resources executive for a non-profit organization with over 600 employees and has been teaching courses compliant with AB 1825 since 2005.
