Ask an Expert:

Donor Development Plans Made Simple

Creating a donor development plan doesn’t have to be daunting. This “Ask an Expert” session will start with a brief presentation, followed by the opportunity to ask all of your questions. Join us to learn:

  • How to prepare for a donor program
  • What are the different aspects of a good donor plan
  • How to manage expectations, goals, and set objectives

This session is for you if you have questions such as: Am I ready to start a development plan? What are the key elements I need to have in place to start fundraising?  How do I set realistic goals?  What are the key aspects of a successful program? When does it make sense to hire a professional consultant?  What are the different areas of fundraising to include?  How do I evaluate my program success?  How do I engage my stakeholders and manage expectations?

In this donor plan creation training we’ll touch on these key questions and help you structure the decision-making process surrounding donor development programs. Attendees will walk away with new ideas for creating programs for their organizations.
