In today’s nonprofits, the Board of Directors, executive managers and employees are all accountable for the organization’s financial well-being, regardless of their background, experience or skill set. Join us for this workshop and learn how to design and present a professional budget - a task considered by many managers to be one of their most onerous responsibilities. After completing this course, you will be able to turn your organizational, departmental and personal goals into numbers... even if you aren't a “numbers person.” All participants are asked to bring a copy of their organization’s budget for hands-on review.
Join us to learn:
-The importance of budgeting for your organization’s fiscal health;
-What planning and research is needed in creating a budget;
-Eight (8) critical steps in building a budget;
-Tips for presenting your budget for approval; and
-Strategies for managing your budget once it is established.
-How to review budgets and identify “red flags.”
