Your grant budget and budget narrative can make or break your grant application. Many grant reviewers look at the budget FIRST when reviewing a grant application. Include too many administrative costs or include overinflated estimates, grant reviewers may be irked. Reviewers may decide you are a risky investment, if you forget to ask for funds to support a critical resource needed for project success. Join us for this course and delve deeper into the topic of grant budgets – what to include and what not to include.
In this course, we will evaluate sample grant budgets and discuss:
--How to capture the true cost of a program in your request
--How to craft a grant budget for multiple grant submissions
--How to demonstrate match and in-kind contributions
Come prepared with questions for the instructor and your peers.
Prerequisite – You must have attended "Grant Writing Basics" or have previous grant writing experience
